Just when you think things can't get any stupider on the internet, #AlexFromTarget starts trending on Twitter and becomes an internet meme in less than 24 hours. Target spokesperson Molly Snyder had this to says this about the unexpected onslaught of publicity: "So imagine our surprise yesterday when one of our Target team members managed to flood the Internet with images of red and khaki without even trying. We are proud to have a great team, including #AlexFromTarget, and are in contact with his store and family." I'm smelling a fat raise, but also a publicity stunt. Maybe I'm jaded.

This whole thing is disturbing on so many levels. But I wish Alex the best with your undeserved fame.
What do you think of the whole thing? Let me know @desijedeikin!
